I emailed
Blair - and this is the reply
I email Mr Blair practically every day
- here's the one I wrote on 9th March,
"Our son is in Iraq, where Mr Blair is yours? Our son
chose to join the Army (of which we are very proud) he pledged
alligence
to his Queen and country, promising to defend both, Iraq never
attacked or threatened to attack his country. So you have sent
him into Iraq against his reasons for joining the Army. Why then
do you not send YOUR son, you and "GOD" (mmm unlikely)
seem to think it is right? Maybe Euan doesn't want to join the
Army and go to Iraq?. Do you really think our boys wanted to go?
They know it is not their fight. 103 Soldiers did not want to die
for YOUR cause, they did beacause they were professionals doing
the job their commanding officers sent them to do. Unlike yourself
doing not what the people of this country want you to do (which
is what you are supposed to there for) but following your own path,
I find
it hard to believe you prayed to God for guidance, because to most
people YOU seem to think yourself GOD.
If you are so convinced
this is right SEND YOUR OWN SON, AND JOIN US IN HOURS OF SLEEPLESS
NIGHTS, CONSTANT NEWS WATCHING, JUMPING TO THE PHONE WHEN IT RINGS,
CHECKING THE COMPUTER CONSTANTLY AND OF COURSE THE ENDLESS TEARS
OF FEAR AND RELIEF AND THE HEARTACHE FOR THOSE FAMILIES YOU HAVE
ALREADY ROBBED OF SONS."
Well after countless e-mails we get a reply....totally
crap and lame one but a reply nevertheless. So at least we know
we are annoying someone there, if only poor M.DAVIS...
