| No-one
is moaning!
This
letter is in response to John Gray
A reply to Mr. Gray
What a shame you had to make remarks about our soldiers in such
a way. It isn't our lads who are moaning and groaning. We know
the majority of them will say we have a job to do and are getting
on with it.
The comments you are picking up on are mainly from
worried parents, who sit every day and watch the news, praying
their son or husband is not the next name up.
The situation in
Iraq and Afghanistan, is not a normal war situation. Our men are
fighting an unseen enemy. We are living in a very dangerous world.
Our boys are out there to help not to destroy, to try and rebuild
not to pull down.
So will you please tell me why our efforts are
falling on deaf ears? These people do not want our help and our
Prime Minister is certainly deaf to that fact. We are there purely
to suit him and his croney in America so that they can get their
own way and so they can save face.
As for the Americans supporting
their troops, I think you should do more research Mr. Gray. I think
you would find there are more people out there against us being
there than you think.
You have children serving in our armed forces.
I pray for their safe keeping and I hope
Mr. Gray, that you are NEVER in the position I was in on the day the phone rang
to tell my sister her son had been killed. Her screams haunt me every day and
night. And the worst part is I cannot ease her pain. I cannot imagine life without
my children and Mr. Gray I hope you never have to.
